The original concept for the song came from thinking about what a Tori Amos Cover of Radioactive would sound like. Like so many of Tori’s covers, what resulted was a song that’s COMPLETELY different from the original in everything but the chord progression, and you can’t copyright a chord progression. There is a version of this song featuring beautifully unique vocals from artist Jen Lightfoot who did the artwork on this single and elsewhere on this site. It’s on YouTube on a different channel from my main music channel. She sounds incredible, but the physical guitar used was terrible (not the guitarist friend who played it) and needed to be restrung and serviced. Since I own a mechanical license to cover Radioactive, I might put her vocal track over these more polished instrumental tracks on this site at some point. I played a Martin D28 myself on this version and on the whole album
